A Supreme Lord with a dangerous thirst for power... A woman with no success in love... A man who is more than he seems... Gwendolyn lived a very simple life. Tyron, the outcast prince of his realm, has been sent on a journey to find THE ABOMINATION; the one prophesied to cause the downfall of his supreme Lord. It was a task that might either get him his father's throne, or cause him to lose his head. But his encounter with the sad song writer pushes him to take steps he never thought of taking... In order to protect the four realms from the greedy eyes of Tyron's father, these two have to go on a journey that will test their trust and budding love... But what if things don't go as planned?

Chapter One: It all began...
PART ONE A thousand years ago... The cold wind blew harshly over the arena. Two men were bare-chested, slowly going around the other, patiently waiting for one of them to strike. They were in a magical ring created by one of the well-respected masters in the realm. It was inescapable and so perfect for the sparring match. It would immediately disappear once there was a winner. Around the fighters were the onlookers, most of whom were the nobles and their servants. However, the most respected was the supreme lord, who was seated on the highest part of the arena to gain a better view of the fight. It was a match he couldn't miss because one of the fighters was his son. Prince Luther. The fighters suddenly leaped on each other. As the fight was to test their strength, a spell had been placed to prevent any of them from using their powers. They were both masters and so were capable of hiding their wings. Prince Luther grabbed his opponents by the shoulders, trying to draw him into a c

Chapter Two: Her first love...
Glovia was from the middle level of the Enu realm. Her family resided in the northern area, where things were fairly good. But they were able to save enough money for their daughter to go to the higher level, hoping she could gain a better life. They weren't wrong. She earned three times what her parents earned, and she always made sure to send them half of her savings. With the amount of money she had given them, they would be okay by themselves for close to a decade. She had lived a peaceful life ever since she got to the highest level. She applied to work in the Supreme lord's castle because rumor had it that the pay was much. When she finally gained the job, she heard of Prince Luther. His ruthlessness was no secret. However, what baffled everyone was how his father was blind to his antics. People who reported the evil prince's actions to the king got missing after a few days. And no search or complaint was made about it. There was a hidden rule amongst the servants; t

Chapter Three: Assistance...
A few days passed since Glovia talked with Prince Stev. Since then, she had been over the moon and couldn't wait for her break time. She and her Prince may not have talked as much as they did the first time she spoke with him, but she made sure to check up on him whenever she came to the garden. Prince Stev always awarded her a charming grin that never ceased to make her heart flutter. She was currently scrubbing the floors of Prince Luther's room. Unknown to her, the man had taken note of her expressions since she came to work for him that morning. He didn't feel comfortable that she was smiling about something that wasn't related to him. The more he thought of it, the more he wanted to push her to find out what made her happy. She had been working with him for a long time, and all she had expressed at his presence was fear. Suddenly, he stood up and walked to his closet. "Prepare my bath." He commanded, opening it in search of his bathing robe. Glovia stood up and b

Chapter Four: His Possession...
A few weeks had passed since Prince Stev agreed to help Glovia escape from the palace. All through those periods, they met secretly, deepening their bond as they planned the escape route. Glovia realized that escaping the castle proved much harder than she had earlier thought. Prince Luther was making matters worse by giving her jobs that even ten servants couldn’t complete. She barely had time to go see prince Stev. Since the last incident with her master, Prince Luther hadn’t asked her to bathe him again. She was relieved yet somewhat worried that he had something worse for her in mind. To get rid of the sad thoughts in her head, she started to think of her prince. She was tending to the garden next to prince Luther’s pavilion. Thoughts about prince Stev always dragged her out of her misery. The more she associated with him, the more her feelings for him deepened. She remembered the first day he called her his friend. She was shocked and honored that he had looked past t

Chapter Five: Her Escape...
Glovia ran straight for the training ground. When she arrived, Prince Stev wasn't there, so she waited for him in the garden. She couldn't concentrate. She was pacing around, worry etched on her tear-streaked face. She quickly wiped the tears that had managed to escape again and placed her hands on her waist. What would she tell Stev? She couldn't even face herself. Just as fear started to creep in on her, she heard footsteps. Hurriedly, she rushed out of the garden, suddenly bumping into Princ Stev, who apparently came her way. "Hey," he greeted, a shy smile on his face. "I thought I heard someone." Slowly, his smile vanished when he saw Glovia's face. "What happened?" he asked, gently taking her face in his hands. Glovia thought she could deal with it. She thought she could be strong. But the worried and angry look Stev had on his face caused her to break down, and she found herself leaning on him, crying out her heart. Prince Stev slowly embraced her and

Chapter Six: Roaming Feelings...
“W-What?” Glovia stammered, shock flowing through her system. Prince Stev nodded gently as he grinned widely. “Yes Glovia, I’ll be leaving with you.” “But my lord, You’re a prince!” Prince Stev sighed. “I have been thinking a lot recently. I really don’t want to be a prince.” Glovia frowned slightly, perplexed at his sudden decision. “But why? There are so many others that would kill to be in your position.” “This isn’t a position to envy, Glovia. It is a very lonely and dangerous life. You are the only one I can call a friend despite my long life in this place.” He dragged his hand through his hair. “I and my brothers aren’t close. We all want different things. I am not someone that wishes for power, but my role as the prince has imprisoned me that I can’t even explore the realms. I find myself wishing that I was just a normal man who isn’t held by the confines of the palace. When Luther becomes king, things aren’t going to be any much easier for me.”

Chaper Seven: Unexpected Defeat...
Glovia had gone back to Prince Luther's room late the previous night. She was relieved to see that he still hadn't returned. She went to the sleeping spot allocated for her and went straight to bed with a smile on her face. She would finally be leaving the castle. The morning came with its rays of hope. Glovia woke up very early and was surprised to see that Prince Luther still hadn't returned. He wouldn't stay the night on some occasions, but she would always find him in the morning, lying on his bed, fast asleep or reading a scroll. She wondered what had changed. Perhaps something important had come up, or it had to do with their last altercation. She sneered inwardly. That would be almost impossible. For the prince to feel guilt over how he treated her was something that could only happen in a dream. She quickly went about her daily activities, cleaning the room and preparing his garments should he return. She was looking forward to escaping with Prince Stev. Their plan was simpl

Chapter Eight: Wounds...
Glovia watched as Prince Luther was carried out of the ring. Stev had collapsed to the ground, and she could see that he was slowly losing his strength. The end of the match was a very surprising one, something that no one was able to predict. The supreme Lord of the Enu realm remained seated where he was and hadn't said anything so far after the end of the match. His silence caused uneasiness to spread amongst the people. Finally, when she thought he wasn't going to say anything, he made a bland announcement..."I am very surprised by how things ended today. I hope to see more in the future."He ended his speech and flew out of his seating area, his entourage right behind him.Glovia looked back at Stev. She wanted to rush to him, to assist him. But they were in public. Any form of help could cause people to suspect her. While she was wondering what to do, she looked curiously as some men from the crowd slowly approached her prince.Stev looked at the men who approached him wearily wi

Chapter Nine: The Next Ruler...
Prince Luther flew to his father's throne room. He landed at the entrance, where two guards stood with their war spears. They quickly paid their respect once they saw him, and made way for him to enter. The throne room was bathed in gold. The ceiling rose to form a dome, with different paintings on it. A blue carpet the colour of the sea ran in the middle of the room starting from the entrance to the throne seat. There was a higher section in the room that was made to look like a balcony, only that people viewed the throne room from that area. Guards stood there with their war spears, along with some elites who looked down at him as he walked down the room.By the steps leading to the throne seat stood two statues flanked by its sides. They were the gigantic sculptures of two women of the Enu realm, with their wings spread out and high up in the air as they each held a flaming torch. Behind the seat itself were two huge palm-like plants, that helped block the king from the sun rays sh

Chapter Ten: Strength and Freedom...
Dead in the night, Glovia snuck her way back into Prince Luther's quarters. The room was dark when she entered, with only a few candles lit. She closed the door silently behind her and glanced at Prince Luther's bed. She could see his still form, so she immediately surmised that he was asleep. Slowly, she began making her way to where she usually slept, trying her best not to cause any noise."Where are you coming from?"Glovia's heart slammed in her chest at the sound of Prince Luther's voice. She paused, took in a deep breath and slowly turned around to face her master. She almost screamed at the sight of him just a few feet away from her with his hands folded across his chest. "M–My Lord..." She said, bowing her head reflexively, then quickly raising it back up when she remembered that he didn't like her doing that."I asked you a question." He said, keeping his voice bland. "Why do you stammer?"Heart thudding heavily, she swallowed and folded her shaking hands. "I have been busy,
