Rule 6: Don't get swayed

A familiar woman showed up at us with her blonde hair and blue eyes and has the same facial features as Sigreen, my roommate. "Hi. I'm Isleen, your pilot for today. Remember, I’m prettier than my twin, Sigreen.” She said without blinking, before flipping her hair and walked away.

I chuckled, still not used to her sassiness. Isleen and I worked already on a mission before and believe me or not, she hates the fact that she has the same face as her twin, claiming that she’s unique.

“I agree, she’s prettier than her twin.” Wave said from beside me.

I chuckled, “I gotta say the twins are working hard today, aren’t they?”

Wave shrugged. Putting on my earmuffs and sunglasses, I closed my eyes as I feel the jet going on air.

Being an agent in Cypher Agency has its perks. And one of them is the unlimited access to every country and travels, as our jets and airplanes can land on any airport, with the pilot showing his watch to the security and immediately they knew who we are and granted access. The long process of going through security and all that airport stuff is not even necessary for us to begin with and that’s one way of us getting away with our weapons. Sigreen dropped us off at Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Wave and I used our fake passports and fake id, registered as Mister and Miss Adams.

“Phelidphelin pị kạb kār ḥạn nī mūn k̄hxng khuṇ”!” The guard said, greeting us. It means Enjoy your honeymoon.

“K̄hxbkhuṇ.” I replied, throwing him a flying kiss.” I forgot to mention, but the sunglasses I am wearing help me in speaking into every language, it has sensors that trigger when hearing any foreign language, showing me the translation and the earmuffs I wore lets me hear the pronunciation. I silently thank Sigreen and the agency’s inventions.

Thailand is such a beautiful country, full of foreigners' warm climate, perfect for a vacation. But also a lot of criminals hide here. It was around 1 in the afternoon. We checked in a hotel with the same fake names and rest. Wave arranged our weapons and opened his laptop. “The night club’s going to open at 9 in the evening.”

I nodded, tired. Let’s rest for a while, can we?” Wave agreed. We took a quick nap after that to prepare for tonight. Waking up at six in the evening, I took a quick shower and wore a black knee length skirt and white floral blouse, with my heels. Thailand is conservative in clothing and I have to be sexy while following the dress code. I look at the mirror to see my reflection. I thank my mom for giving me her genes that make it easy for me to blend in here. Wearing a contact lens all the time sucks. I put on my earrings and high tec watch.

Wave was not wearing a shirt when I finished getting ready. He was eating popcorn and doing something on his laptop. He was only wearing his boxers and I’m used to this. Sometimes, I forget that he’s a top agent behaving like that. I stared at his abs.

“Like what you see?” he smirked.

I throw a shirt on him. “Put on a shirt, Wave. Aren’t you gonna come with me?” I asked.

“Nope, little kitten. I’m gonna be preparing everything, your job for today is to get there, gather information, and show your charms to be a waitress.” Wave said, popping popcorn in his mouth.

“Where did you get that popcorn?”

“While you were sleeping, babe.”

I rolled my eyes at the term babe. I tolerate the word little kitten but I hate the word babe. That sounds disgusting.

“Wear your earrings okay? I’m gonna be talking to you while you’re there so don’t worry. Call me instantly when something happens. And don’t have too much fun.”

“What are you, my mother? And why are you reminding me, I’ve been an agent for years, Wave. Chill.”

“That’s a nightclub! For sure the men are gonna flirt with you all night.” He hissed.

“Why? You’re gonna get jealous, partner?” I raised my eyebrows, smirking. He didn’t reply.

“yes..” He trailed off. My eyebrows furrowed at him. Why is he acting weird?

I looked at my watch, I grabbed my sling bag, where I put all my makeup tools, or should I call, “Special weapons.” I left the hotel and rode a taxi and went to the Sweet Night Club, A-wut Saetang, the target’s night club.  A drunk man bumped into me, and I fake screamed to get Wave’s attention.

“What was it? Are you safe?” I heard Wave’s voice from my earrings, full of concern.

I chuckled. “Oh, you’re already on the line, partner? I didn’t know.” I sarcastically said. I hate the fact that he has to sit there while I do all the action.

“Don’t scare me like that! I was about to go there the moment you screamed.” Wave whispered.

I just chuckled as I spotted two bouncers by the door. “ID?” one of them said.

I grabbed my fake id and handed it to them, who's named, Ying Thamrongnawasawat, my Thai name.

The door opened as someone was excited and I saw what’s inside for a moment. There were a lot of foreigners. It was dim as disco lights filled the club. The bouncers nodded and opened the door for me. I took in the surroundings, pressing my high tec watch to take a picture of everything and send it to Wave. Nothing unusual, just a regular high-end nightclub as foreigners and old men, politicians went to.

I went to the drinks place and saw a bartender. I sat on the stool. I started crying to get the bartender’s attention. “What is wrong?” asked the bartender. So he speaks English…

“Why is life like this? My Thai dad abandoned me! I lived in America with my mom and I came here to meet my father but when I came, he had his own family! My boyfriend dumped me and I have no place to stay here! I need to find a job to go home. Do you know any job?” I ask, blowing off the snot on my nose for effect. “Please? Anything…”

“But why are you asking for a job in a club?” The bartender asked.

“My boyfriend just broke up with me here. He left me. Why do men leave me? Am I not good enough? Am I ugly?”

“No you’re not. I’m sure you deserve better.” he paused. “Wait, I’ll get our manager and see if we can hire you...I think we are needing for a waitress…” He then left. A woman appeared. She looked at me up and down, “ Come with me.” she said. I followed her and we went to an office. It was more quiet here and more bodyguards. I looked around to search for the boss but no sign of the man. She sat on the chair. “Do you have any experience working?”

“Yes, I had been a waitress for 3 years.” I handed her my id. “Please, I just need a job to get home. I’ll do anything.”

“You’re not a spy, are you?” She asked. I feigned innocence. “Spy? No, I’m not. I’m just looking for a job.”

She stared at me for too long, squinting her eyes at me. “Good.”

She kept on asking me questions and I answered all my lies. A waitress came and gave me a uniform and taught me the rules in the club. “You’re gonna start tomorrow, so make yourself familiar with things here.” I nodded.

I walked around the club to put bugs on the tables secretly for Wave to eavesdrop on conversations, to know who are other organizations involved in the fake money business.

“Mr. Saetang will be back in three days.’ I informed Wave through my earrings. “Yes, I heard it already from someone,” he replied.

A man came and flirted with me. “Follow me,” I said and walked to the bathroom.

“What were you doing?” I heard Wave whisper yelling at me.

“My mission?” I answered.

The man followed and touched my butt. I grimaced, eww. “You just let him touch you?!” Wave screamed at me from my earring.

“Well, things can’t be avoided right?” I said. He sighed.

The man leaned in to kiss me but I secretly got his wallet and got fake money. “Where did you get it?” I asked the man. He froze. I got my dagger and put it on his neck, “answer me, or I’ll slice your throat.”

“It's from the boss!”

“Where? Where do you make these things?” I gripped the dagger and pressed it on his neck deeper.

“Factory! Inside!” He yelled in pain. I let go and clicked my ring, making him drink the poison. Consider himself lucky because that will only make him lose his memories. If Wave did this, I’m sure the man will never be able to see the sun again. “Your suspicions are correct,” I whispered to my earring. “Let’s attack tomorrow. Go home for now.” “Copy.”

I left the bathroom and went to my manager to inform her I’m going home. She approved so I left the club.

I can’t wait to use my weapons tomorrow.

As I walked into the dark alley, I sensed someone following me. I subtly turned around and saw no one. I walked faster and a man appeared in front of me. He was wearing a suit. I stopped.

“Who are you?” I asked, just to buy time and grab my pistol. “What is happening there Agent Nova?”

Looks like it won't be that easy..
