CHAPTER FIFTY-SEVEN - The deal
CARINA
As soon as I got in the house, I saw him seated on the couch in the living room smoking. This got me really surprised because the Harry I know would never go near smoke. This is not the man I used to call my best friend.
Harry has changed a lot since I met him. He's suddenly so wealthy, he's violent and now he even abducts people just to get what he wants. That's not the sweet, loving and caring Harry I used to know.
I suddenly feel a bit guilty. He said he has been looking for me for years only for me to say no to him when he confessed his feelings to me. I guess my rejection made him this way.
"You should snap out of it Carina. This is the new me. I am not the stupid and caring Harry you used to know." He said.
I just stared at him unable to say anything. I looked around the house and saw men holding guns around the house. This is so dangerous and I fear for Drake and Fiona's life.
