Bribery, blackmailing, bluffs, all those dirty methods were the closest thing Hayden has to actually rule over someone. Everyone he knew had a certain domain that they ruled, his father ruled Alexandrite Academy, his half-brother was a corporal, most of his friends inherited their business from their family and they ruled over that.
