The Divorce agreement

“Divorce papers sent by Mr. Robin.” Replied the man in a cold tone.

Lucy’s eyes widened in shock.

“What?”.

“Mr. Robin wants to break off this marriage, which is why he has sent me these papers along with his signs. If you sign them then this agreement will be complete.”

“After this, you two will no longer be husband and wife.”

Lucy’s whole world crumbled. She couldn’t believe anything at all.

The lawyer handed out the papers to her to review.

Lucy peeked at the file, still unable to believe it.

Then she picked it up gently, and starts to check inside.

“I know it’s quite sudden news for you to take,” The lawyer began to speak.

“But, even you knew it yourself, that this day was going to come eventually.”

“You two had been staying separated for over a week, so he finally made up his mind.”
