your way of greeting

Early in the morning, when the lights penetrated through the window pane and fell on my face, I awoke from my deep sleep. With zero knowledge of where I was, I squinted my eyes.

But caring less and loving my sleep more, I shut back my eyes, trying to hop back to my dream dimension, but suddenly my voice echoed inside my head, “I don’t want you to leave, Aster. Please stay!”

With a smile on my face, I flipped to the other side but my hand suddenly fell on somebody, sleeping next to me. Sanity breaks in right away, making me aware of everything.

The last memory I had was watching the stars with my head resting on Aster’s shoulder. And I didn’t find that good news.

‘Did… Did I end up in his bed?’ a voice asked, which added more to my panic attack.

Scared to open my eyes and see him next to me, I gulped hard and checked if I was still dressed. Thankfully, I was able to feel my clothes.
