Chapter 45 The Devil Who Remains

The smell of antiseptic combined with the metallic smell of the equipment made Selene dizzy. She was staring at the ceiling as the nurses push her bed along the hallways to the laboratory. Faye’s head popped to her sight, smiling slightly, she smiled back.

They entered a cold room and she was transferred to a flat surface, a huge bright container waiting above her head. She tilted to the side and saw the doctors and nurses along with Faye and Calix, staring at him through the monitoring room.
