The only daughter of the god Aegir was brought into the modern world as a human being. When she was transformed from a goddess into a human being, her goddess name, Ae Snaedis, became Sara Codache. She grew up showing signs of her magical ancestry, making her life more extraordinary than that of the average person. Scientist and mad genius Wake Lauchette is known for his contributions to the scientific community. He is always on the lookout for new things to discover, and this includes strange creatures and cutting-edge scientific advancements. It was assumed that Sara's strange behavior and superpower were a result of her inability to speak. Even before it was televised worldwide, this information had piqued Wake's interest in his studies.

Prologue
It's midnight when a man violates the curfew ordinance outside of their town. Not just that, he neglects the signage of speed restrictions that were mounted in every corner beside the road. He drives fast without the foresight of seeing the probable contingencies that might happen along the way. Nevertheless, he remains confident about what he is doing; it is midnight, and no one's wondering around during this time.  His eyes are full of tears as he looks straight to the highway while driving fiercely. With infusions of frustration and anger, he hits the steering wheel using his own hands. He steps the accelerator harder in which causes the car to run fast.

Chapter 1: Innocent Culprit
Sarah Codache The prismatic ambiance around me dissolved into opaque. The busy corridor turned more chaotic and blurred. People walked everywhere inside this vast concrete building as they vanished into thin air, leaving nothing but deep traces of their footsteps.  While I sat beside a stall full of dresses with varied necklines, I roamed my eyes around and found my mother and sister choosing some fancy outfits. I patiently waited for them to finish until I found myself tapping my fee

Chapter 2: Plastic Fete
Wake Louchette The rain roared with this hazy morning, pattering each corner of every colossal building. The clouds were getting porpoise with bare crepuscular light touching my face through this transparent thick, laminated layered glass. With steeple fingers, I sat on a swivel chair inside my office while spotting at some people coming in of our busy entrance running, probably because they're late at work. I felt dejected to see how incompetent people are during rush hour.  I frowned. Wh

Chapter 3: Encountered
Sarah Codache My mom held my hands with the warmth that brought a sense of safety as we walked across the flared street on a breezy day. My sister, on the other hand, went far-off with headphones on. With wide, startled eyes, she aggressively operated her rectangular-shaped charcoal device. I wanted to run towards her, but I was afraid to be slapped in the face, so instead, I turned my attention to our neighborhoods' gardens, which held me captive. I observed our surroundings until I spotted a group of people burning a highly elastic solid substance, dark amber in color. I felt something wrong upon looking at the colored ash smokes that scattered all-encompassing its neighbor

Chapter 4: Ain't the solution
Wake Louchette  There was a sudden release of energy in the Earth's lithosphere. The ground shook, and I felt the tension running over my entire body. Machines started to alarm. Everyone in this whole building felt no panic; the principles of applying safety precautions applied. All the people working in this research company were looking for ways to prevent laboratory types of equipment from falling, no matter the single debris that might fall between them. A few among the computers were activated manually, yet most of them were automatic machines with senso

Chapter 5: 'We' are one
Sarah Codache Plants were dancing as I passed through the aisle that leads some foot away towards the crystalline lake. An iridescent light shined in the land, passing through small openings uncovered by tall trees' leaves. A flock of birds was singing in chorus surrounding the whole forest, and children running with their parents chasing behind them, barefooted. Their clothes were far way different from the ones I used to see. Plus, their hairstyle was the same as a chignon. I stopped walking

Chapter 6: 'In'competence
Wake Louchette After the encounter that happened in Prisila, media became vast, surrounding the prosperous place. Scientists were racing. They keep finding the epicenter of the earthquake and discovering the source of what has been said, the mysterious appearance of nature.  Nature isn't new anymore but, the aftershock was unnatural. The unusual feeling of the wind. The odd, alluring fragrance of the air which source is still a question. The endangered birds emerged. Plus, the incredi

Chapter 7: Distraction vs. Obligation
When we finally entered the room, a flawless face of a gorgeous woman in green captured my view. Her chignon hair-with multiple braids-matched the slightly curved of a deep shade of her chocolate brown eyebrows. Its black, blonde hair shimmered like a river in the moonlight. Her rosy pink lips were as glossy as silk clothing. These unique characteristics gave her a more substantial look but at the same time, a pleasant one. "Who braided her?" Mrs. Codache sputtered, which brought me back to my entire consciousness. I blinked my eyes several times before listening to their conversation.

Chapter 8: Unheard Pain
I can't help but keep staring consciously at the wound. I have a bunch of questions that kept roaming around my thoughts. At first glance, if this thing I've been experiencing was real, this could serve as my piece of research.  However, I can't still totally believe it.  I have been too much overwhelmed by the unexplainable things that happened before this. So I thought maybe I just need some rest?

Chapter 9: The Beginning
I was in the typical office to prepare the papers needed for Sarah to discharge from the hospital. The ambiance was admittedly comfortable even though I did not know the people working right here.  When all the requirements were on my arms, I promptly fixed anything on the table then left. All medical facilities were busy yet maintained to give a clean and antiseptic impression towards the patients. Doctors and other medical staff greeted me with an approachable facade while I was passing through the hallway. And, of course, I nodded as a form of greeting them back.
