Unexpectedly Yours

It was the end of the year, and three friends met outside to bond, just like they usually did in the past ten years. They went shopping with the company of each other, went to the salon to beautify themselves, and ate together while waiting for New Year's Eve. They laughed, played around, and soon got tired of each other as they always celebrate the end of the year with each other. The three began to walk with a heavy footstep and listlessly looked for a place to rest. So, when they saw a bench, the three then hurriedly ran off and went to sit there. When they were seated, there was a moment of silence. The three were listlessly looking at the people walking past them. Because of tiredness, they leaned with each other, Senna being in the middle, leaned her head off to Therese as Therese leaned her head to Sena's shoulder.  

After a week from New Year, Maye, Senna, and Therese prepped themselves for the reunion. Senna wore her yellow strapless cocktail dress that they bought last week. She put on a hit-the-slope white fleece jacket to cover herself from the cold. As for the shoes, she wore a white touchdown bootie. Meanwhile, Therese from the other room is lining up all the clothes on the bed. She can't decide what to wear, for she isn't satisfied with the dress they bought last week. Undecided about what to wear, she called Maye. "Maye!" She shouted as soon as Maye answered the call. "Why? Is there any problem?" Maye calmly replied from the other line. "I don't have anything to wear!" "What?!" Maye asked while frowning. Therese became more anxious when Maye hung up on her. Still uneasy about what she should wear, she flips all the dresses on the bed. One by one, she put it over her body and looked at the mirror to see if it suited her. In

After a short dramatization, Jon and the two were already out of sight. Though the argument was quick, it felt prolonged, for the night was still long. Also, Senna, Therese with Kevin, and the rest were still outside. As Senna and Therese sighed in relief, Senna then shyly poked Troy's back. Troy turned around to face Senna, looking at her with curiosity. Senna paused for a while, at least a minute or two, before she spoke, "Troy, right? I am Senna Smith." She introduced herself to Troy, and she lent her hand while she lowered her head and scraped her nape, waiting for a response. Troy couldn't help but smile at the sight of Senna that he ended up staring at her. Then he gently replied, "Yeah, I am Troy Sanchez. Also, it is not a big deal. I figured out that those guys won't leave you alone if we didn't interrupt." as he shook Senna's hand while displaying an amiable smile. Senna flashed a smile as well as she nodded in response while still sheepishly smiling at
