“Jade, you go to the precinct, and I don’t want to leave your daddy. He might suddenly wake up and look for me.” Liza begged the girl gently.

Jade looked at her father before her stepmother. She knew that her father would immediately look for the lady when he woke up. On the other hand, she didn’t want to ignore the arrest of the doctor, so she had no choice but to go along with the police officers.

“Don't worry, we won’t leave here, and we’ll watch over your father.”

“Thank you, Uncle Travis!” Jade thanked the gentleman who volunteered to watch over her father. Because she doesn’t trust leaving her father to her stepmother.

“You have to come along, and your mother might suddenly think of running away.”

Debora was hurt by what Tristan said. They really think that she and her mother are culprits and should not be trusted anymore.

Liza nodded sadly at her daughter. The important thing is that one of them is left behind, and she must be the first one Luke sees when he wakes up.
