Alex had finished his conversation with Sofia and had even watched her eat before leaving her in the car of Arthoro. He disliked the idea but right now only he could help her until she started feeling much better. As soon as he got far away from Sofia’s home and made sure no one would piece anything together, he turned back his tracker. Alex was speeding through the streets and transports until he finally reached the academy again.
He scanned his hand so the door could open.
“Access granted, welcome home Alex.” The computer-generated voice said before the door opened for him and he walked in. He was a little late for Alexis interrogation trial, but he knew that they would start with him. He wasn’t wrong there because it seemed like they, themselves were running late when he walked through the door of the trial room.
His squad members seemed relieved to see him walk through the room because they had been calling him but because he d
“Exactly what I mean Madam Lee. Sometimes Alexis doesn’t think with her head, so how can she lead a team of assassin’s with just a trait.” Alex said truthfully not just because this was Sofia’s plan, but he genuinely thought that she still had a long way before she could lead anyone. “Alex, you have never liked my presence in the team, and you are taking this opportunity to slander me.” Alexis said angrily. “I have to agree with Alex there, he is more of a right-hand man than you are to your captain Alexis.” Bianca said and everyone moved their head’s around to see where she was speaking from. “Thank you, Bianca.” Alex said and sat down. “From everyone’s observation of Alex, do you agree with his opinion?” Master Carlos asked the audience. “I have to agree with Alex too because we all saw that he was the best candidate for vice-captain but unfortunately Alexis stole that position.” Max the captain from the War Squad said confidently.
“What kind of allies are we talking?” Alexis asked as she finally sat down. “The kind that would back you back even if you have no hope left for the future.” Madam Lee said with another smirk. “Can you stop speaking in riddles and just tell me what you want already!” Alexis was upset and this conversation was nit helping her current state at all. “Why do you act like you are stupid Alexis? We will have a gathering with potential people soon because as far as I am concerned. You will not win this trial against Alex.” Madam Lee leaned back on her chair. “Why not?” Alexis asked, feeling a little offended. “Why do you think he was so bold to speak up today?” “Isn’t he always this bold?” Madam Lee sighed as she rose from the chair. “Do you really believe that is the only reason for his actions? Why are you behaving like you have no common sense at all?” Madam Lee added as she moved around the office. “I think it would be easier if you just told me what the problem really is instead o
It was time for Alex and Sofia to depart and they were still not talking. Arthoro did not know how they would pull this off if they were still not talking to each other. He was standing outside to see them off because it felt like it would be the last time, he saw them.“Why are you seeing as off Arthoro?” Sofia asked with a frown on her face.“Is that bad? It can’t be as bad as you two not getting along” Arthoro replied with a bright smile.“Stop that.” Sofia frowned more while Alex just whined at the driver’s seat.“What are you talking about?” Arthoro said, playing dumb“Why are you smiling like that?” Sofia asked.“Time is very precious, so can we be on the road already? We don’t want someone spotting you here.” Alex finally spoke up. Arthoro kept his mouth shut and his lips formed a straight line.“Until we meet again.” Sofia muttered as she entered the car and Alex drove away. Alex’s car windows were tinted so nobody could see them as they drove through the streets.“How long?”
The grim reaper stood on top of the tallest building in their target area easily blending with the night in her black attire, she knew that she needed to stay alert because someone was always bound to make a mistake when on a mission. Raised in the Elite Assassin Academy, she knew how to execute well and had little to no room for sympathy when she had to take someone’s life. The Elite Assassin Academy was known for it is undying record of cleaning the streets of bad guys, so why would the grim reaper feel any pain while performing her duty.“Captain, are you there?” Mica’s voice spoke through the grim reaper’s earpiece.“I am here Mica, and I can see you. Just stay in position until I say otherwise.” The grim reaper responded as she clicked on her vision glasses to spot if their target was approaching.“Anyone else feeling very hungry today?” O’Brian voiced, earning annoyed grants from everyone in the g
Sofia jolted up from her bed at the sound of her alarm clock going off, she rubbed her eyes and sighed as she clicked the alarming ring off. She stretched her body for five minutes before swinging her body from the bed and straight to the floor. Sofia walked to her full-length mirror and examined her body, another scare added on her body from all her adventures. She hated that every time she needed to take a bath, she would have to look at her body. This part of her was hidden, her emotions were hidden, Sofia only ever showed herself to one person and even that until this day felt like a mistake. He saw her at her weakest, and she never wanted anyone knowing her weakness. Sofia turned away from the mirror and walked into her bathroom. She turned on the tap and full her bathtub with warm water. She immediately stripped from her clothes and soaked her body into the tub.The morning was the only time she could give herself therapy because the moment she stepped out of her
Sofia left Master Carlos’ office feeling very uneasy. She always welcomed big jobs but lately it seemed like their targets were more prepared when they came to assassinate their targets. She could feel her brain calculating the odds that there was a spy in their mist, and she was ready to find out who is behind all their troubles. Sofia walked down the hallway and came face-to-face the Blade Runner, captain of the killer squad.“Sofia…” He said dragging her name on his lips.“Adrian, don’t you look glad to see me.” Sofia said as she stepped back to take a good look at his face because he was taller than her.“You have been avoiding me these days, everyone can see it.” He said with a disturbed expression on his face, something he always did when he was upset about something.“When did you start caring about what people say? I didn’t take you for that type.” Sofia said, sounding very a
“Please spare me, I didn’t mean to betray you, please.” The man cried as his face was bloody and unrecognisable. “I wonder if that’s what came to your mind when you were leaking information about my organisation.” A man seated on a chair in front of the bleeding man said with a breezy voice. “I swear I had no choice they told me if I didn’t do it, they would kill my entire family, spare me boss please.” The man pleaded for his life as he dropped his head on the ground, his sobbing mixed with his cracking voice from lack of water. “I know the feeling for losing a loved one, but what pisses me off is that you were afraid of someone else’s threat rather than your own boss.” The man on the chair said as he stood up from it and walked towards the bleeding man and crouched to his level. “Boss, I must have been out of my mind. You are scarier than they were.” The man said and grabbed the man in charge by the legs and continued cry. The boss shock the
Alexia and many others were in the training grounds today, she personally liked the punching bag in the corner because she didn’t have to interact with others. She spent most of her time in this specific corner and punched away until she felt she couldn’t go on. Alexia wasn’t in the mood to deal with the squad, so she had made sure to skip breakfast and as she came straight down to the training grounds, where everyone had arrived after finishing their breakfast.Alexia was known as the meanest in their squad but all she ever wanted was to be recognised for her skills. She hated being vice-captain as much as she hated being second place at everything to Sofia. Alexia couldn’t remember the last time she had an unaggressive conversation with her.All sorts of angry thoughts and jealousy were the tools that kept her motivated and pushed her over her limits. Alexia couldn’t understand why Adrian wasted his time trying to love Sofia when
