Amelia was ecstatic that evening as she returned home from work. She couldn’t wait to share the good news with Ryan. It felt so good knowing she now had siblings. For the first time in her life, the feeling of being all alone has been eliminated. She was so glad that she and Lara had reconciled and her new siblings weren’t against her decision to not accept their father. They understood her feelings and she appreciated that.
The moment Ryan stepped into the house, he noticed her radiant smile and it made him smile too. Smith had brought her home earlier because he was still in a meeting by the time she closed from work and he’d missed her dearly.
