ARROW’S POV
The upcoming days passed slowly while I remained in a foggy state. Dawn remained my sole anchor to reality just like it always did. I'd wake up every morning to prepare breakfast and create the appearance of a composed father while internally feeling like I was falling apart. The burden of my actions towards Kalmia became too heavy for me to bear. Each day, it became clearer: without her, my life was incomplete. But that wasn’t the worst part. The devastating realization hit me that my attempts wouldn't make things better.
A week had passed since I saw her face and heard her voice yet every text message and phone call to reach her resulted in no response. I couldn’t blame her. But still, it ate at me.
My efforts were focused on maintaining smooth business operations. But something was missing. A gap. A hole no one could fill. During Kalmia’s absence I brought in new staff members to take charge of leading the team. The replacements had the experience and motivation nece
