The music was loud, and people were laughing and dancing. The celebration continued, the whole place was properly lit.
I narrowed my eyes, there was food everywhere, I could see children running around with bright smiles on their faces.
However, I wasn't smiling. I walked through the crowd, pushing past dancing warriors and clapping elders, my hand tight around the bangle in my pocket.
