Aria's POV
As Shawn led me through the hallways, I could feel the eyes of the passing pack members on me. However, I ignored it and kept my head high. I didn’t feel confident inside, but I was going to fake it till I became confident.
A sense of déjà-vu washed over me as I remembered how Shawn had led me to be introduced as Knox’s mate at the Gray Moon pack. Shawn led me to Knox’s office. He opened the door, and led me inside. However, Knox wasn’t inside.
I turned to Shawn. “Where is Knox?” I asked.
“He wanted you to wait for him here. He will be here shortly. Please make yourself comfortable,” he replied, leading me to sit on a chair in front of Knox’s table, then he excused himself.
As I waited, I glanced around the office space. The last time I was in the office, I was too pissed to notice anything in the office.
