I noticed Charlotte's change in attitude after she confronted me. Even before she did. I noticed the uneasiness she felt whenever I was around.
How she tried to ignore me like she was going to die if she didn't. How she held back compliments whenever we were in a meeting and I was being complimented.
She fought so hard to act indifferent towards me but I caught on to every action. I don't know if she didn't know how obvious she made it but I knew that somewhere not too deep inside, she still had feelings for me.
She wanted me and she fought so hard to tell herself otherwise. It was funny to watch sometimes but other times, I couldn't help but ask why. Why was she holding herself back so much?
If it was because of her engagement, I knew from the start that it wasn't going to work out. She didn't look happy in those videos I saw. At least not like she was when we got married.
