Monica's POV
Alonso truly is innocent. It was the act of the potion.
And when she stood in front of the mirror, I finally caught a glimpse of her full face. But what stunned me was that her head whipped towards where I am standing now, and there was a smirk on her face.
My daughter.
But she is smiling at me. As if she can see me right now. But this is a memory lane. There is no way one can see me right now.
And just as she was waving her hand bye at me, Alonso let my hand go with a scream and we both fell back into the present. I am sitting in my chamber again and I am glaring at Alonso.
"What's wrong? What did you see?" He asks me but all I do is scribble the spell down again and give him that.
"This is important, Alonso. Please. Let us do this again," I say and he looks at me confused.
"Please!" I say and he knows the weight of that one word when I use it. So he doesn't say anything as he gives me his footwear this time. His shirt caught fire in the salt ring last time.
