Venus's POV
I came back home after a long and tiring but happy day. And I am greeted by a pretty sight where my mom is teaching Marissa how to bake bread.
"It's a lot of hard work for something that I can probably finish eating in one sitting," Marissa says to which my mother just laughs it off.
It is heartwarming to see Marissa this way. With my mother. Who knows maybe she will become like a sister to me, now that we have all established that she is not a Rogue.
But one thing that bothers Linda and Alonso and even me at times, is that no matter what we do or what we say .. she is not at all giving out any information on where the camp is.
Dawn says that it might be because she herself doesn't know the exact location. She is fourteen and she is often used as a dumpyard in the camp. She was raised by rogues to a point that she doesn't even know that she is not a Rogue. How the fuck will she know where the camp is?
And partially, that theory has a point.
