Venus's POV
I wake up and get dressed in white. White is always the color for the big day. Everyone is supposed to be dressed in white. Even the prisoners in the cells and the dungeons will be given white clothes just for this occasion.
I walk out of my room to see my mother dressed in white dress that resembles mine. But my dress reaches my knees and my mothers reaches just above her ankles. Marissa is dressed in a white jeans and white t-shirt. This is her first public appearance as well. Alonso and even Linda agreed to this.
And maybe in a couple of days Marissa will be accepted by the Alpha King as a member of the capital pack. Her blood already runs red so there wouldn't be a problem with how she was raised.
The three of us head out and the summer heat is already making it impossible for us to stay in a pleasant mood. My mom once told me that the dress code for the first few years was black but since the big day falls in summer, Michael later changed it to white.
