Racheal's POV
I groaned as I slowly opened my eyes, the throbbing pain in my head reminding me of the events that had transpired the night before.
As my vision cleared, I saw Axel sitting beside me, his eyes filled with concern.
"Hey, how are you feeling?" he asked, reaching out to brush a strand of hair away from my face.
"I've been better," I replied, my voice hoarse from crying.
"I'm sorry, I never meant for you to get hurt," Axel said, his voice filled with regret.
I scoffed, "Yeah, well, you did a pretty good job of it."
Axel winced, "I know, and I'm truly sorry. But you have to understand, my wounds heal faster because I'm an Alpha. It's not an excuse, but it's the truth."
