The guard's heavy footsteps echoed through the grand hall as he ushered the men into the throne room, where Alpha Axel sat upon his throne, a formidable figure with piercing eyes that seemed to weigh as as the souls of those who dared to meet his gaze.
Alpha Damien, tall and imposing, stepped forward, his presence commanding attention. "Alpha Axel," he greeted respectfully, bowing his head. "I am Alpha Damien of the River Walkers pack."
Alpha Axel inclined his head in acknowledgment. "Alpha Damien, what brings you and your men to my kingdom?"
Damien's expression grew grave as he spoke. "My kingdom has been attacked and taken over by vampires. We barely escaped with our lives and a few of our men. I come to you seeking aid, Alpha Axel. I need your help to reclaim what is rightfully ours."
Alpha Axel's brow furrowed in contemplation. "I sympathize with your plight, Alpha Damien. However, involving my pack in a war that does not concern us is a risk I am not willing to take."
