Eleanor's POV
I awoke with a start, my eyes fluttering open to a soft, early morning light filtering through the curtains. The room was bathed in the warm embrace of the morning light, as if the sun itself had been waiting patiently for me to join the world. My head pounded slightly, fragments of what happened last night lurking just beyond my memory's grasp. Getting down from my bed, I yawned before strolling towards the window and separating the enormous sheer curtains.
I extended my hands outside, squinting as the sun rays greeted me. I flicked my gaze at the beautiful busy streets of Paris. Cars driving at full speed on the smooth asphalt floor, tall buildings and skyscrapers with many floors, the bright sky with birds great and small, flying around with their wings spread apart.
I heaved a sigh and spread my arms apart, loving the power of freedom that thrummed through my veins. I blushed when I thought of that night I kissed Arthur to make Killian jealous.
