ELARA
My children are alive and well. I can’t stop hugging them and plastering kisses all over their faces. They are my whole world. I don't think I will be able to carry on with life if I lost them. Isla and Evelyn are in the room with them. They still look shocked from the fear of being attacked. My babies are also scared.
“Mommy, we were taken to a—a—safe room. Everyone was crying,” Aria says in a small voice.
“It’s okay, baby...” I pull her even closer, rubbing her back gently. “You are safe now.”
“We were very scared,” Adrien says.
“I know, honey.” I caress his cheek gently, looking into his eyes. “I am sorry I wasn’t there with you. Everything is okay now.”
“How was the Alpha Ball?” Isla’s voice suddenly seeps through my mind.
I flick my gaze at her, replying through the mind-link. “You have accepted Kieran as your Alpha.”
She nods. “Are you okay?”
