Esme POV
I stood and watched her limbs but they remained frozen in time. There wasn’t any blood but the air was thick and musty. How long had she been down here?
I snapped back into reality and screamed.
“Help!”
I flew forward and landed in front of her. I smoothed her hair out of her face and sobbed.
“Wake up, please wake up,” I begged.
