DRAVEN
For many hours straight, my beast was uncontrollable, roaming around, knocking down trees, and growling into the air until midnight came.
Day after day, month after month, and year after year, I’d searched for my mate tirelessly. Sometimes, I got fed up and cursed the goddess for making someone so important that I couldn’t claim my inheritance because of her. I’d known for a long time that I had to come up with a plan, but what I didn’t know was that my choices will come back to bite me.
I’d found a weak omega, one who tried to take my life and who lied to me again and again. But I knew I needed to use her to get what I wanted. Get the throne, and dispose of her. The same happened to be my mate. It took the death of her mate for it to finally click. What if I’d killed her after she tried to take my life? I growled again.
It was all starting to make sense. She is the only woman who I was comfortable enough to sleep in the same bed with, the only woman that could put me to sleep.
