2022-12-04 00:46:02Zenith entered the private room. He is having dinner with his friends, Jerry Gordon and Ethan Macaulay. They are childhood friends and people call them brothers. Zenith has been losing his sleep this days, Since he saw that woman again, he wasn't himself. He wanted to see her.
That night with her was his first time and since then he hadn't slept with any other women. Each time he wanted to lay with a woman, he always felt irritated.He will garg each time he trued to be intimate with a woman. And that face was a face he would never forget. He wondered if it was possible to fall for someone so easily."I saw her again", He told Jerry." Who?", Ethan asked."The lady I was with four years ago", Zenith replied." You still haven't gotten over her? ", Ethan asked.Zenith sigh."If only I could meet her once", he said." Didn't you say you saw her", Jerry asked."I saw her while passing..."Ethan and Gordon sigh."Forget it, let's just drink", Ethan said.Mia phone beeped. It's a message from Adam.
__Do you have time? Do you want to eat lunch with me later today?__Mia didn't have any appointment that day so she agreed to have lunch with him.__Let's meet at 1:00 then__, She texted him.When Adam saw the message, he confirmed his guess that Mia still like him. It's like she couldn't wait to have dinner with him. He asked her out to lunch and she agreed immediately.
" Well, First love doesn't fade easily", he said feeling smug. In as much as she still like him, it will be easy for him to woo her.He decided to get a gift for her.Mia was surprised when she entered the restaurant and was led to a private booth.
Isn't it just lunch? Why did it have to be a private booth?She opened the door and entered. There were just two seats in the room facing each other. There is a bottle of wine on the table and glasses. There is a small of bowl of fruits on the table too.Adam stood up when she entered."You are here, Mia", he called gently.Mia smiled."I came late?", she asked." No no. I came too early", Adam said."Why did you book a VIP table?", She asked him " I thought we are eating dinner to catch up on things.You don't really need to go all thus length ", Mia said.Adam was impressed with himself. Thank God he made reservations. Who knew she will notice details like this? She must be very happy. She's probably waiting for a confession or something.After all, this setting is so romantic. He is going to make her wait for a while. He might also make her confess to him again.His pride is really hindering him from confessing to her first. After all, she had confessed to him several times and he had rejected her al those times.Mia did not have any beauty that will attract a man to her. If talking about looks, she doesn't have a special look, she had a common face . Adam didn't even know what attracted him to her. Adam is a rich second generation boy and he is also good looking. He's ladies crush." I'm not eating lunch with just anybody. It's you Mia. And it's been a long time we saw each other", Adam said.Mia nods."True. You should make up to me. I wasted a lot of time and resources on you back then", Mia said.Well, that's not pleasing to the ears.She is saying it as of he is not worthy of the time and resources wasted.Adam smiled awkwardly. He regretted not cherishing this woman he liked when she was head over heels for him.The thing is that he liked Mia back then too bit he was too egoistic to admit it.He was probably afraid of what the students will say if he got together with a plain looking girl like Mia. Or he was probably enjoying the attention. He had wanted to make her his girlfriend if she had confessed to him thrice more. As fate will have it, she confessed only one more and probably gave up. She behaved as if he was air and invisible. In the cafeteria, she will nit seat with him and give him her milk tea like she usually does. When it's his turn to clean she won't stay behind to help him. When playing basketball, She won't cone to the court to cheer him up.Whenever he wants to but something, there is no one who will willingly go for him. She stopped giving him candy every morning and stoped giving him flowers each time they return from holidays. She did not even give him a gift on his birthday.The students praised her for holding on for so long. They even said It's normal for a lady yo get tired of such unrequited love. He was dowed for days.He was assured Mia still liked him on their graduation. She singled him out and beg to take a photo with him. He agreed and had the determination to make her his girl friend. That's why he called her immediately he returned from abroad. He saw her during the reunion and was not able to see her again. He went to her house and her mother told him not to come look for her again. He was very happy when he met her again few days ago."What will you like to eat?", He asked her.Mia took the menu to check what she wanted. She saw that the dishes are quite expensive. Her father is quite rich and they often go out yo eat signatory dishes like this when there is an occasion. At home there were chefs who will cook for them. Now, Mia is quite poor and this kind of meal is viewed like a princess meal which a slave must never covet.She didn't stand on ceremony and ordered some good food.Scarlett found herself waiting in Mia's lobby. She had picked Mia's sin up today from school and decided to bring him to the house. She knew it will take a while before his mom arrived so she decided to stay in the lobby for her a while and see if she could meet Zander again.
She waited for 45 minutes when she saw him enter the lobby. He greeted the lady at the counter who gave him a package. It probably arrived when he is not around." Hi",Scarlett walked to him."Miss Quinn friend", he greeted her.He saw the child with her." Your son is so handsome", he said.Well that's no flattery. She regretted waiting in the lobby with Chris. Everyone that passed took more than two glances at him.A lady even asked of his name.She said her daughter is y and she hoped she gave birth to a son as good looking as Chris. At that time Scarlett was thinking 'you wish.'Come to think of it, Chris dad must be very good looking because Chris surely do not take after Mia's look.Scarlett did not come to her senses until Zander said, "Your husband must be very handsome if your son looked so goodlooking" Scarlett "? ?"'What son? What husband? I wouldn't mind if you're that husband though. Having a cute son like Chris is nice too'
