Right after I was discharged from the hospital, the days passed even faster until I realized that it was already my graduation day. I quickly ran to Stefano as fast as I could when the program ended, not minding even though I was wearing heels, and many people were already looking at me.
Stefano was sitting in a fairly far part, that's why I ran for a few minutes before I reached where he was. As I ran, the corners of my eyes were getting wet, and when Stefano greeted me with a hug while a smile appeared on his lips, that's when my tears started to flow.
"Congratulations, baby! You made it! I'm so proud of you!" He whispered near my ear and hugged me even tighter, which made me cry even more against his neck.
I've wanted to hear those words from my own family for a long time now. I thought that I would finally hear those words from them, especially after I followed what mommy wanted me to do, but I was wrong because they all chose something else over attending one of the special event
