Stefano immediately noticed my sudden silence, that's why I felt him peeping at me from his position. Before he could ask me what the problem was, his phone vibrated again in my hand. We suddenly looked there together. We saw that Mildred was calling again.
I took a deep breath. I was just about to hand him his phone so he could answer the call when he suddenly pressed the answer button as well as the loud speaker and then hugged me again. It looks like he really has no intention of taking his phone from me as he pressed himself even more against me as if he was a baby.
Neither Stefano nor I spoke right after he pressed the answer button. We didn't hear anything from the other line for a few seconds first before we finally heard Mildred's voice. It seemed like she was waiting for us to speak first but it didn't happen so she had no choice but to be the first one to speak.
