I felt something inside of me change. My eyes closed and I could no longer feel the pain from my wounds.
What was this light? Why was it so bright?
I opened my eyes. My fur! It was… it was white!
I stood up. I felt strong again. My wounds were gone, and Hazan and Javier were whimpering in pain, lying near a few rocks. How did they even get there?
Huh! The Gem!
Lisa was hiding in the undergrowth but it didn't take long before I found her.
“No! Please! Don't kill me!"
She tried to cover her head and the Gem slipped from her grasp.
I turned around. Hazan was down and so was Javier. This was my chance…
I shifted into my human form and grabbed it. Its body was cold against my fingers and glowed faintly. I had to find Dante. We had the Gem. We could end the war!
As I ran to the battlefield, I heard footsteps behind me. My heart was racing…I wasn't sure how I could carry the Gem in my wolf form. Once I shifted, I would go crazy and attack Hazan.
