Erica:
It was afternoon. I hadn’t seen Dante all day. I laughed to myself and sat back on my bed. It was bad luck for the couple to see each other before the wedding. The clouds felt brighter, the air felt fresher. Everything seemed perfect. It was stunning. I loved it.
“Mom!”
The door slammed open and my kids rushed in and jumped into my arms. I hugged them all, sniffing the tears back.
“Mom, you aren’t even ready yet,” Elsa frowned, tugging hair. b”You haven’t even brushed your hair yet.”
I chuckled and pulled her onto my lap.
“I will get it all done, but I won't be able to do that with you three running all over me.”
Ethan puffed up his chest and became the big brother.
“Come on. Mom needs to get ready.”
He pushed his unwilling sisters to the door and closed the door behind the three of them. I giggled. They were so sweet. I loved them so much.
I had a quick shower and sat down at the dressing table. It was a simple wedding. Nothing fancy. I had already been married to him before..
