Today was a packed day, or at least I thought it was going to become one. Jones and I were going to an art gallery, a cooking studio, and finally a concert. Although I tried to hide how excited I was, I was pretty sure Jones felt it.
We entered the museum and approach the first gallery, which features a collection of modern art paintings.
We were on another of our mother's boyfriend's daughter date things. I'll look for a shorter name soon enough. This time, Jones decided to take me first to an art museum, though we had other places to visit.
"Wow, these paintings are really interesting. What do you think of this one, Lucy?" He pointed at an acrylic oil painting of a mother with a wailing child on her back, and a basket of fruits balanced on her head. The background setting was that of a native village.
"I like the use of color and the way the artist has captured the movement of the figures. It's really expressive," I expressed.
