I had about thirty minutes to prepare the things I needed to go away.

If Jacopo was truly talking like that about me, speaking about how he was going to kill me and would need assistance with the body, then I sure as heck was not coming back. But if it was a misunderstanding, then I would eventually return after sorting myself out and was sure that this baby would be safe in this city.
