"Good!" Gunner exclaimed with a huge grin on his face. "Then I'll start asking now."
I did not respond to him and just rolled my eyes instead, which he saw but completely ignored. I, then, averted my gaze from him and went back to staring at the white wall.
"Jill, Rafael, and Louis," he started, which made my ears perk. How the hell did he know those names?
As if he sees through me, he answered my questions without me even needing to voice them. "I told you. Zach has filled me in with some of the details."
"That traitor," I muttered through gritted teeth after remembering that Gunner actually had already said that.
That Zach. I am so going to kick his balls once I see him again.
"Don't get mad at him. He was only worrying about you. I still dislike that arrogant prick, but I can tell that he cares about you, so cut him some slack," Gunner said, acting as if he had read my mind again.
"That'll be up to me," I responded in an irritated tone.
