At first, they all knew that Manuel intended for Britney to leave on the helicopter. Although there was some personal bias involved, they had all witnessed her resilience throughout the journey. Going back the same way would be just as grueling, and even they couldn't bear to let a woman endure such hardship again.
"I will leave with all of you," Britney responded.
"Hmm, she will leave with us," Manuel agreed.
Facing Raiden’s astonishment, Manuel ultimately conceded to Britney’s decision.
"Damn! Now is not the time to show off your deep love as a couple..." Raiden grumbled.
If it were him, he would have unhesitatingly sent his woman away first. Of course, he hadn’t yet met such a person…
"Enough. Do as I say—have those fifteen people wait outside," Manuel ordered.
The helicopter was arriving soon.
