I was laughing at them, we had just finished having a meal. I was in their home, I should I say our home.
“Yes dear, mine was better wasn’t it?”

We laughed, mother took the empty plates and went into the kitchen, mumbling words of me being unfair to her.
“It felt nice in here.”
“We can continue living just like this.”
