"Do you need anything, Sir?" Kevin's spell was broken by the old maid's voice. He turned around, stunned, to see Amanda standing behind him, holding a tray of snacks for the kids. He shook his head and looked back, unable to take his gaze away from the moment.

It was a rare sight for him as Emma never showed him her emotions. Ever since their marriage, he had never seen her smile or cry. Although there had been a time when he wished to see her tears, when he wanted to hurt her for the humiliation she had caused him, he was now certain he wouldn't like that.
