“Brother?” As Igor whispered, my skin crawled. I turned in haste and saw him walking briskly toward us. He didn’t look very happy, but he was carrying something in his hands that instantly caught my attention.
“Oh great. So I plan all this, and he shows up with a bouquet thinking he's doing more than I am,” Igor scoffed from behind me as I got up to run and hug Easton. He wrapped one arm around my back and lifted me off the ground, spinning me in a full circle while I laughed. Once he put me down, the annoyed look returned to his face as he stared at his brother.
“You couldn’t tell me? I would’ve come too,” he said, clearly upset that Igor had taken me away without letting him know.
