“Shame—on you,” I stuttered, stepping back from him until my back hit the wall.
“Shame? What is that? I might’ve heard of that word, but the memory of it fades away when I see someone worth forgetting it for,” his voice turned husky as he leaned closer, his arm resting on the wall behind me.
