Liam couldn't believe that Serenity had rejected him and it still stung days later.
"Liam" snapped Christina and he looked over at her, as though seeing her for the first time and wondering what he'd seen in her to begin with. She was nothing like Serenity. Where Serenity was kind, gentle and loving, Christina came across as cold, abrupt and sometimes he wondered if she even loved him with the attitude and behaviour she currently kept giving him.
"Yes Christina" he said tiredly wondering what on earth she wanted now.
"Did you not hear me" she snapped snootily "we need to start getting a nursery together. I don't care what King Lucas says, the baby comes first" she glowered and Liam sighed. He was on tenterhooks with his adoptive father at the moment, knowing King Lucas was incredibly angry with him.
