“Yo man. We finally have the chance to talk, now that Miss. Ayesha ain’t come for class.” Devon tapped his shoulder. “Couldn’t hep but notice you weren’t in school yesterday. Marcus? Nigga are you sleeping? Marcus!” He jolted into full consciousness, looking around like he was stranded.
“What?” he looked around, then looked back at Devon. “What is it?”
“You sure you okay man? You’ve been sleeping all day.”

“I was saying, you weren’t in school yesterday, and the day before. Is everything good?”
