Chloe's POV
"Wait a minute while I go get your favourite cotton candy," he got out of the car as soon as he parked in the parking lot.
"I want to come with you," I pouted and tried to get out, but he was by my side almost immediately with his hand pressing the door back.
"I promise I'll be back soon. It's hot outside and you don't have your sunscreen on. I have my hoodie, so let me run and get it for you. Is there anything else you'd like?" He asked and while I couldn't determine what he was after or trying to hide, I wouldn't miss the ice cream we always had together for anything.
"The all flavour mix super bowl ice-cream right?" He voiced and I almost thought it was me speaking until he spoke again, "you still love those right? It was our favourite," he smiled at me and I forgot everything else.
"That's why I love you, stepbrother," I mouthed with a pout. I thought I would cry from how sweet he was being to me.
"I'll be quick, he turned his back and was out of sight in no time.
