After she left the room, I sat down on the bed, thinking about what she had said.
I understood what she was again. I wasn't looking down on Seth either. He had managed to mess a lot of things up and kill a lot of people so I would be stupid not to acknowledge him.
We were advancing to his pack tomorrow. All preparations had been made and everything was set to go.
A knock on the door interrupted my thoughts and I stood up to open it.
“Bernard, what is it?”
I let him enter the room and then closed the door.
“I was just looking for you. Are you okay?"
“Yeah, why would you ask? Is everything okay downstairs? Do you need me for anything?”
He looked at me for a moment before sitting beside me.
“No, everything is fine. You're not okay, what's up?"
