Author’s pov
Merit was in her white sports car and she was vibing and nodding her head to the music she was playing in her car. A few minutes ago, she had spoken on the phone with Adrian and she told Adrian that she was close to his house.
“Please, I am on my way to my house now and it will take about twenty minutes,” Adrian replied to her.
Merit wasn’t concerned if she was the one who got to Adrian’s house first. All she knew was that she was on a mission. A mission to present herself to Adrian in a way that he could easily speak out the way he feels about her. Her music stopped playing and this was how she connected it whenever a call was coming. It would first stop the music and when she looked at the dashboard of the car, she saw Mrs Morgan’s phone number. She picked up her call and said,
“Hello Mrs Morgan, your son has called me and I am close to his house…”
