The black limousine pulled into the place Xavier and Gabriella once lived in. When it was parked, the driver didn't dare to look at the backseat. Opening the car door, he briskly walked away.
After a while, Xavier wrapped Gabriella in his suit and carried her out of the limousine. The hem of her long dress dragged across the floor, gleaming brilliantly underneath the soft light. None of these compared to her stunning face, which was tinged with a drunken blush.
The maid was pleasantly surprised when she opened the door. "Mrs. Lund is back."
Clueless as she was, she asked, "Mr. Lund, should I make her some tea for her to sober up and bring it upstairs?"
