Gray gave Ginnie a doting look.
“Why would I lie to you? I was comrades with Sirius’s grandfather and naturally wanted our families to become even closer with each other. But since both of you are already grown up and have your own thoughts and ambitions, you don’t have to feel tied down by the engagement.”
Ginnie bowed her head and said nothing for the time being.
She did not know what sort of feelings she had for Sirius.
After dinner, Ginnie excused herself to her room.
She cast aside all the chaotic thoughts in her head and instead got out the easel and brushes she had prepared from the closet.
Even though her arm was almost fully healed, she still had no courage to try drawing again.
Besides, it had been three years since she last drew. She did not know whether she could return to her prime.
Ginnie formed the outline of what she wanted to draw in her head and started skillfully mixing the colors to get the shades she wanted.
But when she lifted the brush, she seemed
