The moment the solution settled into the test tube, a quiet certainty settled into my bones.
I blinked down at it, my chest rising and falling in shallow, disbelieving breaths. The liquid inside shimmered—a vibrant, living silver, pulsing faintly under the sterile lab lights. No erratic swirls. No violent separation. No hissing, no smoke. Just… stillness. Perfection.
