“Why are you doing this, Cas?” Ryan asked me as I looked around the room where the dinner was taking place.
“You want to ask me that right now?” I ask him and he shrugs.
“There is a shield around us. Why are you—”
“Because I can,” I say and with that, I walk away from him. ‘Get me Katrina. I need to see her before dinner’ I link to Ryan making my way to the balcony.

‘What do you plan to do with her?’ My wolf asks me as I stare out the window. Lucius has his arms around her, and she stands there, letting him touch her.
