Katrina’s point of view
On the day of the war, everyone gathered at the border of the Crescent Pack. My heart pounded as I saw the lights down the hill.
‘Ready to have a field day?’ Sage, my wolf asked, sounding a bit too excited considering we were going to war, and we might die in this battle.
‘I don’t know. It feels different being back on the front line again after so long’ I say, looking over my shoulder as I check Thelma if she is still holding the line I told her on the upper hill.
‘Goddess guide us’ I said a prayer as Sage smiled.
‘She will. We should not have to worry about anything. Soon this will be over, and we will be heading back home,’ she reassured me, but I was not sure that we would go back home.
“Katrina” Lucius Shouted coming towards me as I snapped my head towards him.
“Are your men in position?” he asks me and I nod my head, my heart racing as I look at him. He seems so calm about what is waiting for us miles.
