Melissa sat on the hospital bed as Nathaniel checked her physical stats, the man was grinning and whistling as he examined her.
“You have a very annoying voice,” Melissa noted.
“Thank you,” Nathaniel replied. “I have missed lots of my voice training classes because you guys, I expect a kind of commendation award,” he said.
Melissa giggled as Beatrice walked over and whacked him a paper on the neck. “If Luna says to keep quiet, you keep quiet,” she said.
Nathaniel groaned and Melissa chuckled. This was the sixth day since the event with Harkov, and since then Melissa had been in the hospital since then. She spent three days before Nathaniel allowed her visitors. He was working throughout those days with the palace's head doctor.
