I couldn't stop once I opened my mouth.
I told her about Cyrus; what he was and how we met. I told her about his siblings and the hell on Earth. About Cyrus missing… and… I told her about me.
"Maybe that's why you're having those dreams. Something is really after me, but there's a solution."
She listened, attentively and quietly. At one point, I wondered if she froze up but she'd blink, gulp and nod to show she was following.
By the time I was done, dad had returned and she had to step out to let him know she was handling things. I sat quietly, tapping my feet as I waited, nervous as to what went on in her mind.
When the door opened again, my blood pressure rose. She walked in quietly, shut the door and just stood there, blinking and watching me.
Her silence scared me more than the thought of her actually freaking out. In fact, I think I'd like for her to yell and scream in my face.
"I know you don't lie," she finally got a word out, and she swallowed a lump. "And you won't sudd
